Romans
6:23 (KJV) - For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In the book of Revelation we are
given a glimpse of the Great White Throne Judgment. Verse 11 says, "And I
saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and
the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. " There is no
place that we can hide from God. The "wages of sin" will be paid to
all those that have earned them. Today read Revelation 20:11-15 as we mediate
on the contrast in today's verse. The choice is stark - life or death.
